Pakistan ranks amongst the lowest countries according to the human development index of UNDP (United Nations Development Program).
3 out of every 10 children aged 5-9 years in Pakistan do not go to school. 2 out of every 8 children aged 10-19 years never see the inside of a classroom. Once in school, the drop out rate is very high (only 2 out of 10 reach class 5). Family Concepts of Pakistani people in Rural Areas Many Pakistanis especially in the rural settlements see children as assets. Boys provide additional help for farming families while girls help mothers in household chores. The cost of education, clothing, shelter, and food are low in Pakistan yet despite there being hardly any costs for education many families decline to enroll their kids. Uneducated farmers often think that education is not important in life and that their kids don’t need it. However they are the future of Pakistan and all children have the right to an education and pursuit of a better life. |
About Seeds of Hope Foundation Education Campaign - EDUCATION FOR ALL
We believe, education is the backbone of every nation. We have started a campaign entitled "EDUCATION FOR ALL". In this campaign we are planning to arrange community meetings for the importance of education, give school supplies to needy children, provide school fees to poor children, provide basic supplies to needy school teachers, renovate safety hazards in Schools and organize educational festivals.
EFA ’s mission is to promote education as a fundamental human right, to improve the quality of education , knowledge sharing and capacity building. improving the quality of education for teachers, advocating for more investment in literacy and early childhood, the more neglected goals, and mobilizing more resources to achieve education for all. To make quality educational resources accessible to all.
